Eddy Constancio is a Photographer based in the Brazos County and working everywhere.

About me:

Remember when we’d look at seventeen magazine and saw an editorial of the High School Musical cast frolicking in the Venice beach sunset? Vanessa Hudgens perfect sun kissed skin excitedly wrapping her arms around her cast members shoulders? looking as though they just got done with a grueling task of being beautiful, young and carefree in the peak of summer? What a load of bull****!

My first exposure to photography was my sister’s seventeen magazine, teen vogue and my mom’s disgusting STAR magazines’. Photography production always ignited some curiosity in me. The idea that there was a whole team of creatives who worked their magic to make these actresses and models look so “lifelike.” However, I wasn't in sunny California or clicking my heels down the New York city sidewalk. I was in the small town of Bryan-College Station, Texas. There was no beach, no skyscrapers and no Vanessa hudgens. Although, It was just enough for me to try. After learning the camera basics at Bryan High I ran crazy with ideas. I liked to make my subject more grand than what they were. I could turn Northgate into a busy New York intersection, I could make Sandy Point Road look like the french countryside, and a construction site would become the hot Arizona desert. Everything was a blank canvas and I was a hungry artist.

Photography soon became the bane of my existence and I decided I want to pursue it professionally. In 2015, I was graced with the opportunity to attend a prestigious photography school called Brooks Institute in Ventura, California. I learned so much at Brooks…and then some. My time at Brooks was cut short due to its unfortunate closure. I had to say goodbye to the world's most amazing teachers, my best friends and my independence. It took a year to heal but once I did, I set my sights for NYC. In 2017  I attended The School of Visual Arts majoring in Photography and Video. There, I spent 3 years working on my art, involving mixed media, and  communication but I got my professional start in the Reality TV and Commercial industry. My senior year, 2019-2020, I worked for Travel Channel: Ghost Adventures as their webisode editor. Growing up, my life consisted of teen fashion magazines and all things spooky. In 2007, nothing gets 10 year old girls more inspired than Selena Gomez and Unsolved Mystery with Robert Stack. I remember the day Ghost Adventures premiered so it was a dream come true when I got the job.

Twenty -twenty. 2020 for me, and a lot of other people, was the equivalent to looking both ways before crossing the street and then getting hit by a plane. During my time at school I thought I wanted to be “Jenna Rink, big time fashion magazine editor” but when I came back to Bryan and looked at my elder grandparent, my growing nieces’ and my mother’s beautifully aging face. I knew where I was meant to be. Damn, all that to come back home? Hmm , not how I see. Through covid-19 i let my trials and error, my new found experiences and knowledge of all thing photography, guide me and found the perfect mix between small town living and big city ideas. With that I created the Eddy Constancio Photo Brand. I called it “anyone can be a model.” Back in the day, not everyone was given the confidence to do what people in magazines did but with my direction and my clients collaboration we can create the most exquisite photo essay. I’m here to help you feel the best you can. This is what I'm suppose to do.

OH! you’re probably wondering where the name “Eddy” comes from? Say my name with a Spanish accents… hear it? it’s short for Erica
